All of the scraps we cut at shows and in classes are donated for charity projects. We have given hundreds of yards of fabric and scraps to a variety of organizations who make charity quilts and other projects. Some of the beneficiaries of these are Project Linus, Binky Patrol, The Painted Turtle, and numerous quilt guilds. This page shows some of those completed projects. If your group would like to be included, please Contact Us.

The Desert Lily Quilters of Yuma, AZ celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2007. There are 125 members, three of whom are charter members, 39 live here year round, and 83 are winter visitors. Most of their charity quilts are for "Amberly's Place", a shelter for abused women and children in Yuma.

To date they have donated over a thousand quilts to them, all in the last three years. These two quilts are very special to them because they are numbers 999 and 1000. The guild also makes comfort quilts for wounded servicemen and women and special "Memory" quilts for the families of those who lost loved ones in action. The quilts are all red, white, and blue.

Desert Lily Quilters meet every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Community Christian Church.
